It's a travesty and a tragedy that our country has become low on the totem pole with respect to our health care.
We want to believe that the people with whom we entrust our health care are competent, ethical, compassionate and wise. Sadly, many have awakened to the fact that this often is not the case. The level of distrust expressed by our customers regarding the conventional health profession has increased exponentially since the events of 2020. Perhaps at JWLABS we are a magnet for those who have become disillusioned, as we seem to attract people who are disenchanted with the system. This, because it has deployed practices which have been devastating for so many. To date, these practices have been mandated and implemented with impunity.
In truth, malpractices of the highest order have been apparent since before the “pandemic”. We have seen a gradual decline in the practice of medicine in many quarters long before this era. Rigged studies and “peer reviews” have effectively manipulated the public’s view of what is safe and effective for many years. The suppression of well meaning people like Hoxsey, Rife, and numerous doctors and researchers (historical and contemporary) are but the tip of the iceberg.
For well over three decades, JWLABS has offered reliable tools for helping people take charge of their health and wellness. Like so many others, we have been censored and shadow banned from several fronts. In light of the fact that this trend continues to the present time, we think it’s important that we point to more resources for protecting ourselves when faced with a health crisis which requires hospitalization. With the right tools and information, you have the opportunity to become well armed in the face of blatant misinformation, even intimidation, from what we formerly considered to be health care authorities.
Patients in the U.S. are more likely than those in comparable countries to report experiencing a medication or medical error at some point during their care, according to a survey by the Commonwealth Fund. (Further reading comparing the quality of U.S. health care with other conuntries.)
“Statistically, there are so many errors in the hospital that the average works out to one error per patient per day, at minimum.”
— Dr. Andrew Saul
Here are some tips for preparing yourself or your loved one for hospitalization:
- Avoid hospitals except for acute care, not chronic care.
- Shop the hospitals in your area. Choose a small local hospital, if possible.
- Check their reputation, including the quality of their food.
- Most hospital food is less than nutritious, but if they are paying attention to this, it’s a good sign. Demand whole, unprocessed foods.
- Get assurance that you can take in your own medications or supplements.
- Take vitamin C before entering the hospital. This will make you less likely to get blood clots.
- Require being addressed by your surname. It establishes an understanding of respect.
- Have an advocate with you 24/7.
Dr. Saul discusses how to play the game. First, you must understand the power structure:
- Patient – You are the most powerful, The assumption is made that you will not assume that power. You can revoke any permission granted on the entry form they required you to sign.
- Spouse – This is the first in line in power as your advocate.
- Children – In the absence of a spouse, this is your next most powerful advocate.
- Have a black sharpie pen with you upon admission, Cross off items on the form which you don’t accept, including 3rd party arbitration (relinquishing your right to sue, upon injury.) If they refuse to admit you, get that in writing and seek legal counsel.
- You and/or your advocate must be proactive, not reactive.
