You were probably surprised by how large it was. But remember, our machines are fragile.
They have tubes inside of them. They’re not digital machines. They are packed very specifically in a certain way to ensure their safe transit. The reason your machine has tubes is very important, and in fact may have influenced your decision to choose Wright Laboratories as the manufacturer of your Rife device. Most of the machines on the market today are digital machines. This means that when you ask them to output a frequency of say 20 hertz, you get specifically and only that frequency. With our machine and its analog tubes, we can produce a natural frequency.
This means that it has a complete range of subtones and overtones to complement and surround the base frequency that you’re using. This emulates natural frequency or natural sound, and it gives a much greater therapeutic benefit in the body. Take a moment now to notice exactly how your Rife machine is packed. As you open the big box, you’ll find a small box inside. Inside the small box, you’ll find your machine wrapped carefully in bubble pack. It’s also standing upright in the box. Remember this, and should you ever want to ship your machine, try to recreate these conditions.
Now that you’ve unpacked your machine, it’s time to do the roll test. This is easy. Hold your machine in both hands and simply turn it end over end from top to bottom. And then side over side. While you do this, listen. If you hear anything loose inside, be sure to let your dealer know. Usually you won’t hear anything because the machine is packed very well.
But remember this roll test. And every few months or so at home, do it again. Make sure that nothing is loose in your machine. Now let’s take a look at the machine itself. I’m going to refer to the face, the back, the top, and the right side of the machine. The faceplate is held on with six screws. If you were to remove that faceplate, on the left side you would see two vacuum tubes. Remember this.
Remember your machine is fragile. Don’t ever let it be dropped or mishandled by anyone. It’s a good idea to keep your machine at home. If a friend wants to use it, have the friend come to your home. Don’t loan it out. Now that we’ve reviewed most of what you need to know to begin the use of your machine safely and successfully, I want to take a moment to ask you to do something for us and for other users. The world of electronic frequency therapy is growing rapidly.
It’s tremendously popular throughout the world. And we’ve begun collecting and collating data on its use. It would be helpful to all of us if, as you begin your work, you keep some record of your progress. Take time to note the frequencies you use, the results you get, and find a way to get that information back to us. Initially, you might find it convenient simply to call your dealer. Or you can use the customer support line, which is area code 888-891-1122.
Also on the front of the machine, on the faceplate, you’ll notice a window. This is the window where you’ll be able to monitor the frequency that you’re using for your treatments. We’ll talk more about this window later. And then again, off to the right, you’ll see a series of knob names along the right-hand side. We’ll discuss those each in turn as we proceed. Let’s turn now to the top of the machine where the handle is. On the top, on the immediate left, you will see a fan output. This is very important to keep this fan output free and clear so that air can move through the machines as it cools the heat from the vacuum tubes.
You’ll also see your power switch at the top of the machine. The power switch is a very good friend. Before you even begin your work, after you’ve plugged your machine in, that power switch is going to indicate to you whether or not the electrical line that you’ve chosen to work from has a good ground. We’ll discuss that in more detail as we go. Next to the power switch, you’ll see a little knob that sticks up off the top. This is a post that’s covered by a plastic housing. If you remove that housing, a ground post will be exposed and available for your use should you ever need or want to attach an external ground line to your machine.
This might be a good point to stop and talk a little bit about the quality of the ground on your electrical line in your home or wherever you’re working. Our machine is very much more sensitive than digital machines. We have to have a very good ground or we’re going to have trouble getting a stable output. When you work with your machine, if you ever notice any fluctuations in amplitude or instability in the readout, it’s probably a factor relating to the quality of ground in your line. In addition, if you’re plugged into an outlet that’s not properly grounded, before you even turn your machine on, the power switch at the top of the machine will begin to flicker orange in an off position. That’s an immediate indication that you don’t have a proper ground. If you ignore that indication and turn your machine on, nothing will happen, nothing bad that is.
But the power switch will then go dark. Under normal conditions, with a properly grounded line, the power switch in the on position will glow a steady orange. When it’s turned off, of course, it will be dark. Now, let’s move to the right-hand side of the machine, and starting from the top. At the very top, you’ll see another plastic housing, which, if you unscrew, will allow you to change a blown fuse. Immediately below the fuse, you’ll see a toggle switch. It’s black, and on the left-hand side, you’ll see a toggle switch labeled polarity.
This is a switch that’s used in some treatment applications to allow the user to switch the polarity of the two leads. That is, imagine that your right lead is positive, your left lead is negative, and in the middle of the treatment, you want to switch the polarity, changing the left lead to positive and the right to negative. This is the place where you will do that, and of course, when we discuss application techniques, I’ll review this again in more detail. Below the polarity switch, you will see two simple black knobs. On the faceplate, they are labeled fine and coarse. These are the knobs that we will use to select the individual frequencies for our treatments. Below that, you will see what we call a vernier dial and a large black knob below it.
These two are a little more complex, and I’m going to take a little more time describing their use. On the faceplate, you will see the words amplitude and range. The amplitude refers to the knob that is silver and black and has numbers on it, and it’s nearest the faceplate. Range refers to the knob behind it, near the back of the machine. It’s a solid black knob, similar to the kind of knob you would see on an oven. There are no indications of setting for that knob, but I’ll tell you how to understand its use. Let’s go back to the vernier knob first, the amplitude dial.
The vernier knob is designed to control the intensity of the output. This amplitude knob controls the speed at which you turn up or turn down your amplitude. It acts as a governor. This helps us avoid the unpleasant sensations which can be experienced with too sudden an increase of amplitude. The knob is designed with two parts. The place where you put your fingers on the knob is actually the inside of the knob, and one full revolution of that inner part of the knob will create a one-tenth movement of the outer part. If you look on the side of the machine very closely,I have to use my reading glasses for this, you’ll see a little tiny window that’s painted black with a white numeral on the inside.
When you receive your machine, you should see zero there. The inner knob is also calibrated in tenths of a unit, so you’ll see numbers like .10, .20, .30, all the way up to .90. When you pass .90, you will see that the increment will change in the black window to the next higher number. The vernier knob is relatively delicate. We have found that someone who uses this knob with a heavy hand can actually unseat it on its post, which creates a problem in that you can’t really turn the amplitude off if the knob moves on the post. So again, with this knob and with all of the other parts of your machine, go gently. Don’t turn this knob too forcefully at the top or bottom of its range. Allow it to come gently to the stopping point.
We’ll talk about amplitude values when we get into the application portion of these instructions.
Now let’s take a look at the range knob. It has no calibrations on the side to guide you, but the readout window on the faceplate of the machine will always tell you what range you’re in. It’s really very easy to understand. There are four ranges available on the machine. Think of them as gears of a car. First, second, third and fourth. As a driver, if you want to go 10 miles an hour, you can’t be in fourth gear. Similarly, if you want to go 70 miles an hour, you can’t be in first gear. It’s the same with our machine. The ranges are designed to help the machine deliver the frequency and a smooth transition from low to high.
It works this way. Range 1 goes from 2 or 3 hertz up to something like 32 or 33 hertz. Range 2 will pick up the ball at about 30 hertz and go up to 300. I’m using round numbers here because each machine varies 1 or 2 hertz. Range 3 goes from 300 to 3,000 and range 4 takes you from 3,000 on up. So again, if you want to use a frequency of 20, you know you have to be in range A because range A covers from 3 to about 30. Let that be your guide.
Don’t worry about trying to see the ranges with that knob. When you receive your machine and turn it on for the first time, it will be set in range A. To advance the range, simply turn it one click at a time in a clockwise direction. Immediately below the range knob and the vernier dial are your outputs. There are two different types of outputs. You’ll notice that two are smaller and two are larger. The smaller outputs, which are size 2.5, are near the faceplate of the machine.
The larger outputs are size 3.5 and they’re near the back. That covers all of the knobs and switches that you’ll need to know about in order to use your machine. Let’s take a moment to look at the back. At the bottom of the back, you will see a fan intake. It’s very important when you’re using the machine to be sure that this intake is free from anything that might block the air flowing into the machine. You’ll also see a footrest that pops out. It’s spring-loaded, so it will always make a kind of snap to go back into position.
That’s there for your convenience. If you have the machine positioned on a flat surface, it’s nice to have it angled up, so it’s easier to read the faceplate. At the top of the back, you’ll see the spot where we attach the AC power cord. And that’s it. Those are all of the parts that we’ll be using in the applications that I’ll discuss with you in a moment. So let’s take a minute now to look at the accessories that you received. You probably received four little black carbide pads.
You can set those aside for a moment. We’ll use those later. You also received two tubes of contact gel. One is a slippery conductive gel that’s useful when you want the pads to move freely over the surface of the skin. The other is a sticky conductive gel, useful if you want the pad to stay in one place, for instance, a back application for pain. You also received a package of leads. Typically, these will be about five feet in length, and they will have plugs that will fit either the 2.5 or the 3.5 outputs.
Let’s imagine for this discussion that your leads have 2.5 jacks on them. So that means we’ll be using the outputs that are nearest to the faceplate of your machine. This might be a good point for us to discuss application techniques, different styles, ways of using the machine. The most powerful way of delivering electronic frequency to the human body for therapeutic purposes is with the use of foot baths. This is a very standard method of use. Many of us grew up being cautioned by our parents never to mix electricity and water. So for most of us, it takes a little leap of faith to try this method for the first time.
But let me assure you that our machines are designed for safety. When you use the foot baths, you’re going to need to get some accessories of your own. You’ll need two plastic, rubbermaid dish pans, just large enough for one foot in each pan. And you’re also going to need a pair of gloves. You’re also going to need to buy a quantity of Epsom salts. I find it most convenient to buy the half-gallon paper carton size at the drugstore for a few dollars. You can buy several cartons at a time.
You’ll also need a timer. I got mine at Radio Shack. I want you to stop the tape now and take a moment to assemble these accessories. Your foot pans, your timer, the salt, some warm water must be deep enough to reach the ankle bone of each foot, your machine, one set of leads, and your power cord. When you’re ready, turn the tape back on and we’ll continue. Okay, now you’ve got everything together. I want you to put one and a half cups of Epsom salts in each of the two foot pans.
I know that sounds like a lot, but the salt is what helps the water become conductive. You might remember in school that fresh water is actually insulating, while salt water is conductive. So go ahead and add the salt to the water in each tub. Next,I want you to place those tubs on a thick terry cloth towel, so in case they should spill, there’s something there to absorb the salt water. When you’re done with your treatment, remember to rinse your leads with fresh water, and always keep a hand towel by the machine as you work with it. Never touch your machine with wet hands. I want you also to have a chair, preferably a wooden chair or a cloth-covered chair, on which to sit comfortably.
You might find it convenient to have a small table next to you, where you have a light and possibly a telephone, because you’re going to be there for a few minutes. I want you to find a place for your machine. This is really critical. Never put your machine where it could fall into the foot baths. This means that you want to set the machine off to the side, so that if it fell, it would go right to the ground, not into the water. Never work with the machine on your lap while you use the foot baths. It’s also a good idea to keep children and pets away from the cords and the lead wires, so that they don’t do anything to be pulled.
Because your machine is an analog device, the tubes may retain a slight charge that should be dissipated before you begin. An easy way to do this is to tap the ends of the leads together before you put them in the water pans. Now that we’re ready, I want you to turn the machine on. It’s plugged into a good line. You verify that by the orange light on the switch. You’ve attached one set of leads to your machine. Let’s take a moment now and talk about those leads. The leads are made by a third-party manufacturer.
Occasionally, there can be faults with the way they connect to the machine. In this test today, we’re going to verify that your leads work well. You’ll notice that you receive two sets. Put one set away. I want you to keep that to use exclusively with the rubber pads, and not in the saltwater bath. The set of leads that we’re going to use with the saltwater baths are going to become slightly corroded after multiple uses in the saltwater. That’s why I want you to keep them just for use with the saltwater and keep another set clean and free of salt to be used with your pads.
Let’s plug those leads into the machine. At the other end, you’ll notice two lead outputs or ends. Those need now to be pulled gently apart to separate them for use in the footpaths. Place one lead in one pan, and the other lead in the other. At this point, we don’t know which lead is giving you a positive output and which is negative, so we need to test for that now. Let’s turn the machine on, and turn, please, to frequency number 20 in range A.
Use the coarse knob to turn your frequency. Don’t be surprised if it takes several full turns of the coarse knob before you see any change. in the frequency window, but eventually you’ll get up to number 20. I’ll take a moment to point out here the use of the select and reset knobs on the face plate, just below the frequency window. When the machine is brand new and you’re using it for the first time, occasionally you will see that the frequencies seem to move arbitrarily, changing numbers rapidly. You simply use the reset and select buttons to establish your frequency again. You can do that now as a test.
If you press reset, the numbers will begin to change. Press select and it will stop. Now that we see frequency 20 in the window, we can look to the amplitude knob. It should be at 00. As you begin to use the machine, you’re going to learn that the amplitude knob is your best friend. It’s also your best teacher. Most of the mistakes you make with the machine, in terms of awkwardness of use, will be taught to you by the amplitude knob.
It’s a good idea to make sure that this amplitude knob is always at 00 before you make any adjustments to the machine while it’s in contact with your body. That way, you can avoid unpleasant strong sensations that were unexpected. Let’s put our feet in the saltwater baths. And now, begin to slowly turn up your amplitude until you can feel a mild tingle. You should feel the amplitude before the amplitude knob hits 2. If you don’t, check your leads. One of them may have fallen out of the water pan, or it may have become loose in the connection to the machine.
Don’t just turn it up. Be sure you feel the amplitude first. Now that you feel the mild tingle, I want you to turn it to a point that I call comfortably strong. The sensation of amplitude by each individual is very subjective. On any given day, you may be more or less conductive than on a previous session. Never try to standardize the use of your amplitude. Always go by how it feels.
You don’t want to experience severe cramping of the leg muscles, but at the same time, you don’t want it to be so mild that the frequency can’t penetrate. So again, I like to guide people to select a level of amplitude that’s comfortably strong. Now that you’ve done that, see if you can tell which foot feels the frequency in a stronger way. That’s the positive lead. It’s not uncommon to have trouble distinguishing the strength of that signal at this point, and to help you determine which is positive, reach for the polarity switch and click it to the other side. You can tell very quickly which foot is getting the stronger signal. Eventually,we want to put the positive or stronger on the right foot in the right bath.
The General Rule of Thumb for salt water applications is to have the positive polarity on the right side of the body. The salt water is a pretty strong solution of salt. Plus, you have electricity running through it. If there’s a blister or a crack or an opening of the skin on your foot, it’s going to sting. Always keep a jar of Vaseline nearby, and simply put a tiny dab of it to cover that area to create a greater insulating effect, and then you’ll be perfectly protected. Now, turn to your application guide, to the section about applications. Alphabetically, look for the entry called Align, A-L-I-G-N. That refers to the set of frequencies that are commonly called the General Alignment Numbers or the Detox Frequencies. They have several different names, but Align is how they’re listed in the manual.
Now that you’ve found that section, take a moment to read it. You’ll see the frequencies are listed as 20hz, 60, 72, 95, 125, 666hz, and on up. Those are the frequencies that you will find to be the most powerful, the most useful in the entire range. This group of frequencies you will see repeated as part of many of the other treatment protocols throughout the manual. They’re very fundamental. Let’s pretend that we’re now going to do a detoxification treatment. We would start with frequency 20hz.
In the lower range, in range A, the lower frequencies, such as 20hz, 60hz, 72hz, etc., are very robust and are felt very strongly in the body. It’s natural that most people would want the amplitude to be set at a lower setting. As we move higher and the frequencies are faster, most people find themselves turning the amplitude up as they go up in frequency. For example, at frequency 10,000, you could turn the amplitude to 10, the top of the amplitude output range, but you wouldn’t feel much. This does not mean you’re not getting amplitude or output. In fact, when you use the water pans and have your feet in the water, do not put your hands into the foot pans at the same time. This will instantly cause a feedback loop that will feel way too strong.
In fact, it’s a good idea not to put your hands into the water of the foot baths at the same time in both pans. To test this, to prove it to yourself, I suggest that when it’s at 10,000hz, you set your amplitude at a relatively low output, say 2 or 3, and try it, and you’ll see immediately what I’m talking about. So don’t be fooled by thinking that because you don’t feel 10,000hz, that you’re not getting 10,000hz. You are.
And so now, back to frequency 20hz. While I’ve been talking, you’ve been receiving frequency 20hz for a minute or two. It takes a full three minutes for the entire blood volume to circulate through the feet. When we use the salt water in the foot pans, what we’re doing is creating a field for the blood volume to pass through. That’s why we hold each frequency for about three minutes before we switch to the next one. So now, it’s time to switch to frequency 60hz. I want you to follow carefully my instructions for changing your frequency.
This is a standard practice as you work with your machine. Because we’re on frequency 20hz in range A, we can’t reach frequency 60hz without changing ranges. The way we do this is as follows. First and foremost, turn your amplitude to 0. Whenever what we’re doing requires a change of range, we want that amplitude off. So turn your amplitude to 0, and it’s 0 now. Next, you’re going to need to turn your frequency from 20hz back down to frequency 3hz or 2hz, whichever frequency is the bottom of your range A.
As you’re doing that, you are going to allow the machine to recalibrate properly when you change to range B. Once your frequency is down and your amplitude is down, you’re now free to change your range comfortably. Let’s do that now. With one clockwise click, go to range B. Because you’re working with an analog machine, not a digital one, see that the readout on the faceplate of your machine will go to one number and then finally to the bottom number of the new range, which should be something like 32hz or 33hz. Once you’ve established that, you now turn your coarse knob, which controls the frequency, to the new target frequency of 60hz. Once you’ve got 60hz in the readout, you are now free to turn your amplitude back up.
Go ahead and do that. Once you’ve gotten your amplitude to a comfortably strong setting, stay there. Put your timer on 3 minutes, and I’ll discuss the rest of the frequencies in this range. After 60hz, you have, I think, 3 or 4 more frequencies that you’re going to be using in range B. When we change frequencies within a range, it’s never necessary to reduce the amplitude for comfort’s sake. But if you were at frequency, oh say, 600hz, and then for some reason wanted to go down to a much lower frequency, say 20hz, if you were simply to reach for the range knob and click it anticlockwise to range A, you would be startled by how strong the amplitude would suddenly feel. Don’t ever do this.
Always turn your amplitude down when you’re going up in a range or down to a new range. If you’re staying within a range, you’re free to move the frequencies anywhere you like without any change of amplitude. This is a very good habit to form, and it’s one that the machine will teach you to do. If you make a mistake, the machine will remind you. Now, if you wish to continue going through the detox therapy… …you may proceed with the next few frequencies. When you finish with 125hz, turn the tape back on.
Remember, hold each frequency for three minutes. Now that you’ve finished 125hz, it’s time to go to 666hz. And again, this will require a change of range. So to review, first we turn our amplitude all the way to zero… …then we turn our coarse frequency knob back down all the way to the bottom of range B. You should see 32 or 33 in the window. Once you’ve done those two things, you’re ready to switch to range C.
As you do so, you will see the machine recalibrate to the bottom of the new range. You should see a number like 327 in the window. Go ahead now and tune to 666. As we move higher in the range numbers, you’ll find that the coarse knob becomes too coarse to use for accurate selection of the frequencies. This is why we have the fine tune. Let’s use 666 as an example.
It’s actually not hard to tune with the coarse tune to 666. But for the sake of demonstration, let’s do this. Using the coarse knob, approach 666.
Let’s stop at, say, 659 or 660. And then take your fine knob and tune slowly and carefully upward until you capture 666. This is how we use the fine tune. It keeps us from overshooting our mark. Go ahead now in range C and complete the frequencies through 880. Okay, now that we have finished the frequencies in range C, let’s turn the amplitude to 0. And this time, be sure to tune both the fine frequency and the coarse frequency knobs back down to the bottom.
You will again see 327 in the frequency window. Now we’re ready to click to range D. As the machine recalibrates, you will now see a number like 3200 in the window. And we’re ready now to turn to frequency 5000. Now here, your skills at using the fine tune knob will become more important. Try to get as close to 5000 as you can without overshooting it. You’ll soon learn that your machine, because it’s an analog machine, reacts best if you use the frequency knobs in the following way.
As you make an adjustment to the frequency by turning it upward, pause. Let the machine catch up with you. It will not give you an exact in-the-moment readout as a digital machine will. It takes a moment to catch up with the motion of the turn of the knob. So, turn and pause, turn and pause. Watch the frequencies in the window. As you get close to 5000, say 4985, stop using the coarse knob. Turn to the fine knob and creep up on 5000 from below.
Once you have 5000 in the window, turn to your amplitude knob. This time, you will probably find that you are comfortable using an amplitude of 8 or 9 or 10. Again, you won’t feel much, but believe me, the output is there. At 5000, you can let the machine go longer than 3 minutes if you wish. The same is true with 10,000.The reason I mention this here is that most of our users have found that although they are treating themselves for a physical complaint of one kind or another, they find that the machine makes them feel very happy, very positive. It’s my belief that the frequencies of 5000hz and 10,000hz are the frequencies that are giving this effect. This seems to be supported by some of the entries you will find in your application guide relating to subjects like anxiety, insomnia, depression. Take a moment to look at the index for some of these mental conditions.
As you read about them, you will see that these higher frequencies are very often used in the therapy. This might be a good time to tell you an anecdote about one of the people I have worked with here. Her name is Fran. Fran first came to me when she was suffering with several conditions. She had dysplasia of the uterus and was scheduled for a hysterectomy. She came to discuss the possibilities of surgery concerning that. And as she was talking, she complained about pain in her leg. She had arrived at that meeting with a walker.
She pulled up her skirt to show me a very large thrombosis on her right shin. It was about the size of half a grapefruit. Fran is from Missouri. She likes to be shown that something works. At that point, she had never heard of Rife Therapy and didn’t know much about it, but she was willing to try. So at that first meeting, we gave her first treatment for the thrombosis using the protocols as described in the application guide that you have. We chose to use foot baths for the first treatment, and we agreed that she would return every other day for subsequent treatments to see how the therapy went.
On her second treatment, we used pad applications directly on the site. I’ll discuss the technique of pad applications later on this tape. At any rate, on the third visit, Fran was delighted to show me that the thrombosis mass had largely dissolved.
The flesh was pink. She had feeling in that spot again. The pain was certainly gone, and perhaps best of all, so was the walker. We continued with the treatments for another four visits, just to be sure. And then Fran was feeling so good that she announced that she was leaving the next day for a trip to Japan. This was a woman who couldn’t walk just two weeks before.
When she got back from Japan, she called me and said, I want to get one of those machines for myself because the circulation in my legs is feeling so much better, but I really missed my treatments while I was away. So I helped her get started. At home alone, she began working with the machine. Fran is an older woman. I’d say she’s in her early 70s, and she’s not a technically oriented person, just an average mom or grandmom. But she did very well with her machine. She had no trouble using it.
About a month after she had gotten her own machine at home, she called me one day to say, are you sitting down? I said yes. She said, I’ve got to tell you something. I went back to my gynecologist to do more lab work prior to my hysterectomy, and guess what? The dysplasia is completely gone. The doctor couldn’t explain it. Fran said that he was dumbfounded.
He didn’t know what to say, but they canceled her surgery. This is a good example of how these very powerful general alignment numbers can work throughout the body at the same time to treat several different conditions. For instance, Fran thought she was treating herself for thrombosis, but what she did was at the same time to kill the precancerous cells that caused the condition of dysplasia requiring surgery. After that, I asked her how she was feeling about the machine, how she liked it, and I expected her to say something like, you know, this is great. I treated myself for thrombosis, but you know, the possibility of cancer disappeared. But what she said really startled me. She said, you know, it’s nice that my leg is better.
It’s nice that my edema is gone and that my circulation is improving, and it’s nice I don’t have to have surgery, but what I’m really pleased about is the way I feel. The quality of my emotional life has improved dramatically. I am really happy. So this is an example of some of the effects that you’re going to find through these very simple but powerful and fundamental frequencies that we call the general alignment series. Never be afraid to trust those numbers to do most of the work for you. In cases of cancer or cases that require specific targeted frequencies, say in candida or herpes, we certainly can add in the unique frequencies that are particular to those conditions, but they’re all built and based upon the power of the environment. In fact, it’s a good idea to write them on a piece of masking tape and put that tape right on top of the area that you want to put the tape on, so that you don’t have it on the faceplate of your machine for ease of use.
At the same time, take another piece of masking tape at the very top of your machine and put a cautionary note. Never let anyone with epilepsy use your machine or anyone with a pacemaker. Go ahead and write that out on the top of your machine, just in case on occasion someone may use your machine without you being there to guide them. You don’t want anyone with those two conditions to inadvertently use the machine. While I was talking, I’m sure you’ve completed your Frequency 10,000hz. It’s time to turn the machine down, but not off.
Let’s go through the steps. Amplitude first, then your Fine and Coarse Frequency knobs back down to the bottom of the range, and finally, let’s turn the Range knob to Range A. You’ll now see Frequency 2 or 3 in your window, but don’t turn your machine off yet. Never turn your machine on or off with your feet in the water. This is an analog machine. It has vacuum tubes inside of it. When we turn the machine off, it takes a while for the charge in those tubes to completely dissipate.
It trickles down slowly, so we never want to turn the machine off and on and then off or on again quickly. As you get ready to stop your session, remove your feet from the water. Once you’ve done that, you can go ahead and turn your machine off safely. Go ahead and do that now. I want to take a moment also to discuss the use of the pads. That’s another style of application. Again, remember that we’ll keep one set of leads for use with the pads alone.
Let’s imagine that you suffer from pain in the back, or you have a tumor site, or you have an infection on the tip of a finger. These are the kinds of applications requiring the use of pads. When you use pads, you want to be sure that you know which pad is positive and which is negative. An easy way to do that with pads is simply to grip the pads firmly in each hand, one in each hand, with a dab of conductive gel. I find it easy to hold the pads using the ring, middle, and pinky finger of each hand, leaving my thumb and forefinger free to adjust the machine. Go ahead and try that now if you’d like. As you grip the pads, turn it to frequency 20, and then begin to turn your amplitude up.
You’ll feel a mild tingle. Turn it until you feel a really strong pulse in your hands. You may be able to tell right off the bat which one is stronger, which one is positive. If you can’t, use the polarity switch to help you determine that. Once you’ve found which pad is positive, we can begin to use the pads on the body. In the application guide, you will find dozens and dozens of application techniques described for pad use. Our manual also contains small images showing multiple pad use.
Those images come from the research of John Crane, was Dr. Rife’s partner for 25 years. He had a specialty in acupuncture, and he did a lot of research using acupuncture points with electronic pad applications. If you wish to, you can experiment using those guidelines, but you’ll find that the text in our application guide does not refer to them directly. They’re simply there for your information and for your experimental use. When we use pads, we also often use polarity switching as a technique. This is especially true in pain management.
As you consult with your customer support personnel, you will find that we’re able to help you design unique protocols for your particular condition. Be sure to do this. Always ask for help. We’re there to give it. Let me refer you to the section in your manual on cautions. It’s very important that you have a thorough understanding of everything discussed there. Now, another thing about frequency therapy.
When we are treating the body systemically, as with the footpads, what’s happening in your bloodstream is a massive die-off of pathogens. The frequencies that we use are often referred to in the theory section of your manual as the MOR, or Mortal Oscillatory Rates. These rates do just what they say. They kill pathogens by bursting their cellular structure, basically electrocuting them. When these pathogens die in your bloodstream, the contents of their bodies are released into your bloodstream. This causes what’s known as a Herxheimer effect, or a detox reaction. If you find that after a treatment you have a headache, nausea – mild or severe, dizziness, weakness, those are all results of this Herxheimer effect.
They’re expected, and they’re a sign that the therapy is working. The best way to clear these symptoms is by drinking lots of water. By lots, I mean three quarts, perhaps even a gallon in a 24-hour period. Water is an electrolytic substance. It enhances the ability of the body to work with frequency therapy. You can aid this process by the addition of sea salt to your diet. I like to use, personally, about a teaspoon and a half of sea salt every day in my diet.
I sprinkle it on my food in place of table salt, which I don’t use at all. And I also put a pinch in a large glass of water. I find that this increases the alkalinity of the water, which helps it react more efficiently with the toxicity in the body. So drink lots of water when you’re using your machine. It’s important for your own comfort and for your success in treatment. And remember, always call your dealer for JWLABS for support if you are working with a complex protocol or frequency applications above the neck. It’s extremely important that you do these things correctly.
Our machine is not designed to be used above the neck unless you have the full support of your dealer in designing the proper protocol and that you understand it completely. Remember,on on this tape we are simply introducing you to the art of frequency therapy. Keepin mind that there are many more application styles that are very advanced and cannot be covered on this tape. And again I want to thank you for taking the time to listen to this tape and to welcome you to the ever-growing community of frequency therapy users throughout the world.
